Refund and Cancellation Policy

This Refund and Cancellation Policy applies to virtual coins and digital goods purchased on Shush, operated by Pepper Studio from Bangalore, Karnataka, India ("we", "us", or "our").

By purchasing virtual coins or premium features on the Shush dating app or website (shush.so), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the terms laid out in this policy.

1. Purchasing Coins & Digital Goods

The Shush app allows users to purchase virtual coins. These coins act as a virtual currency exclusively usable within the app to unlock features, such as sending messages to other users. All transactions are processed securely through our authorized payment gateway partners on behalf of Pepper Studio.

2. No Refund Policy

• We do not offer refunds for unused coins.
• We do not offer refunds if you choose to delete your account, or if your account is suspended or terminated due to a violation of our Terms of Service.
• We do not offer refunds for dissatisfaction with the app, lack of matches, or lack of replies from other users.

Exceptions: The only exception to this policy is in the event of a technical failure on our end or our payment gateway's end (e.g., your account was charged, but the coins were not credited to your wallet). In such technical dispute cases, the amount will be automatically refunded by the payment gateway within 5-7 business days, or you may contact our support team to have the coins manually credited.

3. Cancellation Policy

Because coin purchases are processed immediately and are a one-time digital good delivery, they cannot be cancelled once the payment has been initiated. If you are on the checkout page, you may cancel the transaction by closing the window before the payment is authorized. Once authorized, the cancellation period expires immediately.

4. Coin Validity and Expiration

Virtual coins purchased on the Shush app have a strict validity period:

• All coins are valid for exactly 1 year (365 days) from the date and time of purchase.
• Upon expiration, unused coins will be automatically forfeited and removed from your account balance.
• Expired coins cannot be recovered, extended, or refunded under any circumstances.

5. Fraudulent Transactions

If we detect that a purchase was made fraudulently (e.g., using a stolen credit card or unauthorized payment method), Pepper Studio reserves the right to immediately freeze the associated Shush account, revoke the purchased coins, and report the incident to the appropriate authorities and payment processors.

6. Policy Updates

Pepper Studio may update this Refund/Cancellation Policy from time to time. The latest version posted on the website will apply to purchases and orders placed after the update.
