Shush Terms of Service

Welcome to Shush!

By using the Shush dating app and website (shush.so) ("Shush," "the App," or "Service"), operated by Pepper Studio from Bangalore, Karnataka, India, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Shush, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use Shush.

2. Definitions & Operating Entity

"We", "us", "our", Pepper Studio, and Shush refer to the business entity operating this application and website (shush.so). "User", "you", and "customer" refer to any individual accessing or using the Service.

3. Your Account

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information.
• You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information.
• Pepper Studio reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account for any violation of these Terms.

4. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use Shush for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
• Upload, share, or promote Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) or Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM).
• Harass, threaten, or harm other users.
• Post or transmit offensive, harmful, or sexually explicit content.
• Impersonate another person or entity.
• Engage in fraudulent or deceptive activities.

5. Child Safety Standards and Zero-Tolerance Policy

Pepper Studio and the Shush app maintain a strict, zero-tolerance policy against Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) and Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM). We explicitly prohibit the uploading, sharing, or promotion of any content that exploits, harms, or endangers children.

Any user found violating this policy will have their account permanently terminated immediately, and their information will be reported to the appropriate law enforcement authorities, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC).

Reporting and Contact: If you encounter any content or behavior that violates this policy, please report it immediately using the in-app reporting mechanism available on user profiles and chat screens, or contact our dedicated Child Safety Point of Contact directly at: safety@shush.so.

6. Content & Intellectual Property

• You retain ownership of the content you post on Shush, but you grant Pepper Studio a license to use, display, and distribute it in connection with the Service.
• All trademarks, logos, designs, text, and graphics of Shush are owned by or licensed to Pepper Studio.
• We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or our community guidelines.

7. Paid Services & Payment Gateways

• Shush may offer premium features, subscriptions, or virtual coins for a fee.
• You will be charged in accordance with the terms of the applicable purchase. Payments are processed securely via authorized third-party payment gateways.
• Refunds are governed as outlined in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

8. Disclaimer

Shush is provided "as is" without any warranties, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pepper Studio, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Pepper Studio and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising out of your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

11. Modification Clause

Pepper Studio may update these Terms of Service at any time. The updated terms will be posted on this website and your continued use of Shush after publication constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for any reason. You may also delete your account at any time.

13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
